This show features a collection of photos printed on 4×4 aluminum squares inspired by Instagram and the photos we “like”. Each artist brings a different point of view with each photo and share what they see through the lens of their cameras and iPhones. #doubletapthat asks artists to find their most favorite photos from the Instagram app and use another app called PostalPix to to print them out on aluminum squares. All the photos are magnetically attached to a steel canvas and displayed in a gallery setting at Glashaus San Diego.
